La Bergerie self-catering cottage in Normandy

Descriptif

La bergerie is a self-catering cottage of about 120 sqm located on the property of Les Marronniers. The building is timber-framed, as is typical in the Country of Auge.

Capacity : 6 persons (excluding children under 2), very good level of comfort.

The cottage benefits from its own access, parking spaces, a bike shelter, and a private flourished garden with terrace of about 1000 sqm.

It is located next to the meadow and the property’s woodland.

The cottage is equipped with a garden table and chairs, a barbecue, an entrance hall with recess, an open fitted kitchen giving onto the dining room (electric coffee maker, toaster, kitchen utensils, pots and pans, crockery, oven, microwave oven, fridge-freezer, gas plates, dish washer), 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 toilets, a washing machine, a living room including table, chairs and sofas, a fireplace, a TV (DVD player and VCR), a stereo, a selection of books and games. Also: iron and ironing table, vacuum cleaner, cleaning kit. Heating from electric convector heaters and radiant heaters. Electric water-heater of 220 litres. Bed sheets and dish towels supplied, bath towels not supplied.

On the ground floor: kitchen, living room, separate toilet, bathroom with washbasin and bath, 1 bedroom with double bed (140 cm).

Upstairs (attic) : recess, one bedroom with a double bed (140 cm), one bedroom with two single beds (90 cm). 1 bathroom with washbasin, shower and toilet. Extra baby bed possible.

 The bonus at Les Marronniers: we rent the cottage with the sheets... and make the beds!

 Breakfast service, packed breakfast and/or packed 1st dinner to save you doing the shopping on arrival, local produce hamper, catering service in collaboration with the village restaurant for your family meals, etc. Do not hesitate to ask for our help to facilitate your stay!

Prices include sheet rental – beds made, and cold water consumption. Electricity is charged as per the meter reading: kw/h HP €0.11 inc VAT, kw/h HC €0.07 inc VAT.

Additional guest over 6 occupants in the cottage:  €80 flat rate for a week’s stay, €40 for a weekend stay. Minimum day rate per bedroom for 2 people: €80 including breakfast, if no guest rooms are available. Breakfast service for cottage guests: €5/person/day.

Prices recommended by Gites de France: bath linen rental: €8/person. Household linen: €8 a kit (dish towels, tablecloths, napkins). Rental of extra bed sheets : €8 per set per bed.

During the period running from 15th May to 15th September, an extra charge of €0,90 tourist tax per person and per day is collected to the benefit of the Community of Communes of Cambremer.

Final cleaning is up to you, unless a €50 fee is paid. An inventory of fixtures is made on arrival and on departure.
